I bought this skirt after drooling over Altuzarra’s S/S 2014 show last year (!). It took me about 3 months to get up the courage to actually wear it out of the house. This slit it HIGHHH, ladies. But, worn with the appropriate items, it can look sexy and chic. (I pushed the envelope a bit with a nude tee, but loved the contrast with a burgundy bag).
Tips: keep the top very covered. A tee, a sweater, a blouse (although I wouldn’t recommend the unbuttoned blouse that Joseph showed it with). Wear heels. The elongated line of your leg from this skirt is gorgeous, so focus on that. Keep hair and makeup are simple for a youthful feel.
Had a great (but surprisingly tiring) weekend away in Seattle with my Momma. It’s so nice to be able to get away every once in a while! Also picked up a new beauty that I’m crazy about… Yay!
