I know, I know, you’re probably thinking, “Where’s the sparkle? Black? It’s so boring!” But to be honest, I’ve never really been the kind of person to wear red with loads of sparkle during the holidays. And black, my friends, is never boring; only chic. Although I do have a great pair of red DVF pants I may dig out… Lesson of the day: never say never, especially when speaking sartorially.
How do you dress up your style for the holidays?
PS There are still two fabulous holiday giveaways in play! Enter here and here.
Oooh I remember those DVF pants! They’d be so cute for the holidays!
Great look! I’m not big on sparkle either! Black is definitely chic, especially when black leather is added to the mix like you did today! Gorgeous! And I love that lipstick shade on you as well!
Bold Subtlety
I wore a similar outfit for a Christmas party this weekend.Fitted black midi dress with a lower back and burgundy court shoes, to match a burgundy lip! Black is always sexy.
Ohh I’d love to see those burgundy court shoes Rima! The outfit sounds stunning.
This is by far the best holiday outfit I´ve seen for this year… black leather is much sexier than sparkles and that stuff.
Thank you so much! What a lovely comment Issel.
I love this outfit! Your coat in particular is simply gorgeous <3 And the shoes, can we talk more about the shoes? Beautiful!

You wore the right sized skirt! That’s the main thing with leather skirts…soo easy to pick too smaller size.
Just love it! <3
