Jeans are such a staple in my wardrobe. They can be worn with anything, dressed up or down, but finding the perfect pair is a headache and a half and takes a lifetime (I honestly feel like I will be searching for the perfect pair of jeans until I die). I’ve spent way too much money on denim, but over the years have amassed some favourites and wanted to share my top 5 jeans with you!
My favourite tip for making jeans fit perfectly is to have them tailored – I find that jeans that fit me in the leg are a little big in the waist, so I’ll have a tailor take them in in the back. Have them take in the waistband and put two darts on either side, above the pockets so that the jeans still sit flat.

Are you wearing the A Gold E in ‘Passenger?’ I noticed you linked Brooklyn as well. I have them in ‘Brooklyn’ and am obsessed but am wanting a more medium-colored pair.

I agree so so much! Finding the perfect jeans is like looking for the holy graal… many thanks Jill for this video. As far as I’m concerned, my favorite ones come from APC. It’s à French brand, I don’t know if it’s available in Canada. But I just love love love this brand and their jeans are awesome…

Have you ever tried Yoga Jeans? They’re great quality and have great stretch to them. Plus they’re Canadian made!

Great post! I loved seeing all your favourites. I live in jeans! Especially in the winter months so I’m always interested in what people are wearing. My current favourite is the Levi’s 501 wedgie.
I’m in love with Page jeans they are ultra soft and super flattering, a bit pricey but worth it !
hi! do you have any favorite jeans that you decide not to cut, or think that regular hem jeans are attractive? just curious I have a pair of the 501 Levi’s that I haven’t cut and considering cutting them but not sure if I’ll do it right… lol

I like the regular jean hem! I’m just super into the frayed look right now, and I’m also short, so I usually need to get my jeans hemmed anyway. But if you like the regular hem, keep them! They’re super classic and chic!

What size do you take in Agolde 100% denim jeans? I am soo confused if I should take 24 or 25, I am in between depending on brands and if there is stretch. But I am 24 in the waist and 36 in hips. Do you think they run big or small the denim one (not stretch) ? Love all your denim!! soo nice.

Love this post! I have the Jamie jeans, and I love them. I was wondering if you have any tips on caring for your jeans? How long do your jeans generally last?

Hi Megan! I don’t wash my jeans very often, which is helpful for making them last. You can put them in the freezer for a few hours if you need a little pick me up (it gets rid of bacteria/smell). Hope that’s helpful!
