One major reason why I love spring so much is because of the statement coat. It’s not warm enough to wear during the winter, but isn’t really appropriate for summer; it’s light, colourful and perfect for the transition from the ugly and cold months of the Canadian d’hiver. I paired this watercolored topper with super simple separates in black, white and nude to ensure it took center stage. It is kind of hard to downplay a coat with a painting on it.
