1. CETAPHIL OIL-FREE FACE WASH + MOISTURIZER
I’ve been using these two products for 15+ years and they remain a staple in my routine. They are simple and non-comedogenic and allow me to spend my money on more potent skin care products like retinol and vitamin C serums.
2. KLORANE DRY SHAMPOO
I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos and this one remains a favourite – just make sure you let it sit for a few minutes before tousling your hair. Because it is white, I always double check my hair before leaving the house to ensure there’s no residue.
3. BIG SEXY HAIR ROOT BOOST
Again, I try out a lot of beauty products on a regular basis (and tend to switch up my routine quite a lot), but always come back to this mousse spray. It gives my hair a lot of boost and grip (as a fine haired woman, your hair can be super slippery and not hold any kind of style) and it’s very reasonably priced.
4. CLEAN & CLEAR PERSA-GEL 10%
In my experience, benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid (I also use Oxy pads from time to time) are the most effective ways to get rid of minor spots. A few days of using this at night will clear it right up. Make sure you’re using a good moisturizer as these ingredients can be very drying.
5. L’OREAL ELNETT HAIRSPRAY
Another product that I always have in my kit and always go back to, no matter how many products I rotate through my routine. It isn’t heavy or sticky and is easily brushed out if too much is applied. I especially love the volume version of it.
BONUS: Q-TIPS
No matter how many makeup brushes I buy + use, I always end up using Q-tips as well. They’re so handy, cheap, and easy to use.
Totally need to check out that dry shampoo. Thanks for sharing!
