When I first tried on this dress, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. I kind of loved it, but it also kind of looked like a pirate shirt (which I somehow find both awesome and hilarious). There’s a definite line that I flaunt between being “on trend” and being original. You want to find that piece that no one else has (originality is everything, right?), but you don’t want it to look completely ridiculous. As much as we want to be different, we all want to fit in in some way. Ultimately you want to love and feel confident in what you’re wearing because that’s what makes something look unforgettable. Cheesy? Maybe. But true, very true.

hah thank you my love!
I almost got this dress too! I love it and being a pirate rocks – especially on tropical holidays, or in your case even on a winter one!
