Believe me when I tell you that I know wedding makeup can be overwhelming. There are so many looks to choose from and this is a very special day that will be immortalized in photos. Once you nail down actual the look, you’re inundated with products – this foundation is long-lasting, this lipstick stays on for 12+ hours, this mask promises you glowing skin. I’m a beauty blogger and I’m overwhelmed by it.
I haven’t narrowed down the exact makeup look I will be doing for my wedding (it’s not until next year), but I am doing my best to try out products, report back and give you lots of bridal makeup options.
I’ve already done a few smokey eye bridal looks, so I decided to go classic. I used KISS Product’s subtle take on a classic French nude manicure with Salon Acrylic Nude French Nails. You can get a perfect Acrylic French manicure at home without the hassle and time spent going to the salon (and without streaks or uneven polish coats). I also used their Lash Couture Faux Mink lashes in Boudoir to enhance the winged liner. They are affordable, soft faux mink lashes (a combination of human + synthetic hair) so a humane choice (always something I look for), and you can reuse them up to 10 times. I also really like how voluminous they are without being heavy. I finished the look with glowing skin and a natural pink mouth instead of my usual nude. I was surprised by how much I liked this look since I didn’t think I would go the classic route.
I hope this video is helpful and I would love your feedback on this classic bridal makeup look! Should I do it for my wedding next summer?
