the {new} classics

Whenever I think of a classic, it’s usually a little boring. Well, maybe boring isn’t the right word, because it’s obviously classic for a reason, but how about… standard. It could use a little kick in the ass from time to time. Which is why I seem to have progressively gravitated towards leather classics. It started with an unbelievable Shoppalu pencil skirt (see here); then came skinny leather pants, and a faux leather mini skirt. I like the sexiness and edginess leather brings to the classic shapes. Just because something is basic doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Try a print pencil skirt or a colourful trench. The classically flattering shape will give you the foundation you need to have some fun.
