I’ve read about dotting liner to thicken up your lash line for a few years but it wasn’t until I was reminded by Cupcakes + Cashmere that I actually started doing it. Now, I use this trick whenever I want my eyes to really pop without looking like I’ve gone to a lot of effort.
Step 1: Curl lashes + apply mascara. I usually do 2 coats.
Step 2: Lift your lid (as seen above) until you can see the roots of your lashes. Dot liquid liner (right in with the roots) along your entire lashline. Repeat if necessary for extra definition.

Interesting…I’ll have to try that. My trick for curly lashes is to let my mascara set..then I put my blowdryer to my eyelash curler (for just a tiny bit of heat but never too hot)…I then curl my lashes with it. It works like a charm.
